The European Roof Tent Festival

The gathering of travelers in roof tents!

RTT Festival 2026

Known as RTT Festival to those in the know, the event is celebrating its fifth edition this year.

For three days, hundreds of crews from France and several European countries come together around a shared passion: traveling with roof tents and related outdoor activities. The program is structured around a variety of accessible highlights: activities, equipment demonstrations, conferences sharing experiences, travel stories, practical workshops, meetings with exhibitors, group meals, and evening concerts. Every moment is designed to encourage interaction, conviviality, and closeness between participants.

The setting of Lake Madine offers an environment that is particularly suited to the spirit of the festival: nature, space, accessibility, and outdoor activities. The site allows visitors to experience the event on a human scale, striking a balance between discovery, conviviality, and relaxation.

Many crews return every year, creating an intergenerational dynamic where we see vehicles evolve, children grow up, and travel stories continue. More than just an event, the RTT Festival has become a special time, a moment when we don't just talk about travel: we practice it, we recount it, and we share it.

New for 2026

The automotive outdoor show

The festival is enhanced by a dedicated outdoor automotive exhibition. This space brings together manufacturers, brands, and specialists to showcase vehicles, equipment, and solutions designed for travel, adventure, and new outdoor uses. The focus is on practical, modular vehicles that are suited to outdoor leisure activities.

A 5,000 m² test area

A new 5,000 m² testing area allows manufacturers to offer demonstrations and vehicle tests in real-world conditions. The aim is not extreme performance, but rather an educational exploration of the vehicles' capabilities, with light off-roading, bridge crossings, and situations representative of outdoor use.
