Who is MARMO’TT?

Behind MARMO’TT is Zoé, a 28-year-old mechanical engineer based in Toulouse. The adventure began in 2020 with a six-month road trip in a converted car.

With her grandfather’s advice, experience, and tools, she transformed a simple everyday car into a true travel companion. This experience marked a turning point.

After spending more than a year on the road and traveling tens of thousands of kilometers in various converted vehicles, one thing is clear: traveling as a nomad should be simpler, more accessible, and less expensive.

That’s how MARMO’TT came to be: a brand designed with real-world experience in mind, by a user who understands the real challenges of traveling by car.

What is MARMO’TT?

MARMO’TT offers removable sleeping berths specially designed for city cars. The goal is simple: to transform your everyday car into a comfortable place to sleep in just a few minutes.

Two versions are available:

SOLO: €345, a lightweight 9-kg version designed for solo travelers.
DUO: €595, a 17-kg two-seater model for two people to sleep in a compatible car.
Using two adapters, you can switch from the SOLO version to the DUO version, and vice versa.

Installation requires no tools, no removal of seats, and takes less than three minutes. Once installed, the bunk provides convenient storage space under the sleeping area for bags, clothes, or travel gear.

Once folded, it becomes very compact and can be stored in the trunk or under a bed at home. Weighing just 9 kg for the SOLO and 17 kg for the DUO, it remains easy to handle and doesn’t add unnecessary weight to the vehicle.

Zoe is the first person to use these sleeping berths. Every detail was carefully considered and tested over several weeks of travel to address the practical challenges encountered on the road. The manufacturing, assembly, and design are all carried out locally in Occitanie.

Which vehicles are compatible?

MARMO’TT announces compatibility with more than 120 vehicle models. The first requirement is the ability to position the seats according to the recommended configuration. If this requirement is met, the vehicle is compatible with the SOLO version.

For the DUO version, you also just need to check that the trunk is at least 98 cm wide between the wheel wells. In most cases, a quick check is all it takes to determine whether your vehicle can accommodate the sleeper compartment.

Manufacturing and Delivery

Delivery times vary depending on available inventory. When a product is in stock, delivery is expected within 10 days. When a product is being manufactured, the maximum delivery time is 30 days.

Each sleeping pad is manufactured to the same high standards: sturdiness, lightness, compactness, and durability. MARMO’TT is the result of two years of development, testing, and refinement.
